Competitive Bidding - Tendered Projects
Gerry Enns Contracting Ltd. is on preferred contractors lists for various commercial and institutional clients. Typically, this involves a lump sum contract for a clearly defined scope of work.
Construction Management Proposals
Construction management agreements allows for greater involvement by the owner in the selection of subtrades and flexibility in using preferred vendors. These contracts are most often used when the scope of work is not clearly defined or when some aspects of the work are designed, but others are not. These contracts are typically a “cost plus” or “fixed fee” agreement.
This system is used to minimize the project risk for an owner and to reduce the delivery schedule by overlapping the design phase and construction phase of a project, providing a faster delivery than any other construction method. Where the design-builder is the general contractor, the design professionals are typically retained directly by the contractor. This is one of the oldest forms of construction developed from the “master builder” approach.
When contemplating projects or improvements, the client or architect will sometimes request our involvement in providing a construction budget. We offer this service at no cost to our established clients with an understanding that Gerry Enns Contracting Ltd. will be requested to do the work if the budget is approved.
Service Work - Small Projects
